Squid with Bell Pepper in Chili and Garlic Sauce (Lee Kum Kee)




Ingredients:

1/2 kilo Squid
2 pcs. big Red and Green Bell Pepper cubes
Onion cubes
Garlic minced
Chili and Garlic Sauce (Lee Kum Kee)
Salt and Pepper
Canola Oil


Procedure:

Clean and Prepare Squid... 

* remove the squid head from the body
* harvest squid ink sac
* remove the squid beak (yung nasa ulo)
* remove tail tube and cartilage (yung matigas na parang plastic)
* remove skin from squid body
* cut squid ring


In a pan: 

Add 2 tbs. Canola Oil 
saute' Garlic until brown
add cleaned Squid rings and the head... stir
add 1 tbs. Lee Kum Kee Chili and Garlic Sauce
simmer for 2 minutes... 
then add the Onion and Red or Green Bell Pepper

lastly, Salt and Pepper to taste


Pwedeng ulamin... pwede din pulutan!

Mixed Vegetables with Shrimps and Quail Eggs




Ingredients:
1 medium pack Mixed Vegetable(bought from the grocery or you can make your own)
1 dozen Quail Eggs, shelled
1/4 kilo Shrimp, peeled off
Onion finely chopped 
Garlic finely chopped
Salt and Pepper
1/2 Butter


Procedure:

In a pan... melt butter
saute' garlic and onion
add shrimps
set stove in low fire and simmer for 3 minutes or wait until shrimps are cooked 
add mixed vegetable... stir occasionally
add salt and pepper to taste...
then add the quail eggs

cover for 2 minutes and it's ready to serve!

Tokwa't Baboy in Tausi




Ingredients:
1/2 kilo Liempo
2 packs Tofu (mas ok kung yung nabibili sa grocery)
1 small pack Tausi (Ram)
Kinchay/ Celery chopped
Onion diced
Garlic chopped
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Salt and Pepper
Canola Oil


Procedure:
In a pan... boil Liempo until tender
slice evenly then put in a bowl 

In a frying pan... put oil then fry Tofu until brown and crispy
slice evenly then put in a bowl

In another pan: (masyado bang maraming pan... hahaha)

saute' garlic and onion
add liempo... then stir
add  2 tbs. soy sauce... then stir
add 2 tbs. vinegar... do not stir
then add fried tofu and tausi... and stir
add 1/2 cup water
salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of sugar 
add kinchay leaves

then cover for 3 minutes and it's DONE!
